The main objective of the research project is the installation and operation of an Atmospheric Weather Educational System for Observation and Modeling of Effects (AWESOME). This collaboration is under the frame of the United Nations Basic Space Science Initiative (UNBSSI) programme for 2005-2009 in conjunction with IHY (International Heliophysical Year) that will facilitate the deployment of a number of arrays of small instruments to make global measurements of space physics related phenomena.
