Dr. Andreas Konstantinidis
Permanent Cyprus Ionospheric Research Group researcher
Dr. Andreas Konstantinidis is a senior researcher at FRC and an Assistant Professor at Frederick University and holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Essex, UK, His research work focuses on Computer Systems and Networks as well as Multi-objective Optimization using heuristic and meta-heuristic techniques with specialization in evolutionary computation and its applications. Particularly, Andreas has defined and formulated several multi-objective optimization problems in the areas of Communications (such as radio propagation and ionospheric and space weather effects on radio systems) and applied state-of-the-art evolutionary computation techniques to deal with them. His work is published in more than 30 esteemed academic journals and international conference proceedings.
