Biography
Dr. Theodoros.Leontiou is a senior researcher at FRC and an Assistant Professor at Frederick University. His PhD thesis was based on the computational study of the quantum many-body problem in nuclear physics through the use of Monte Carlo methods. His research experience helped him develop both theoretical/analytical skills as well as computational skills for the solution of complicated computational problems and to apply them in supercomputers. His contribution within the Cyprus Ionospheric Group is vital in running Fortran code for IRI and NeQuick ionospheric models to perform thorough model validation of these models over the eastern Mediterranean region and script writing to process ionospheric data from radio occultation satellite missions.
